I was born in Barbados and came to the United States in 1969. I graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in nutrition. Previous to SDSU, I earned a degree from Pensicola College in food service management.

I married my husband in 1971 and along with our one son, traveled extensively throughout the United States with the Navy. In my off time, I care for my mother and husband, and enjoy walking and going to the gym. I have worked in the health care field for the last 35 years; the last eight-and-a-half years have been at Monte Vista where I have really enjoyed being with our great group of residents and staff.
